The Soldier’s Tale is one of many of Stravinsky’s popular works, brilliantly cast “to be read, played and danced.”  Fountain Hills Theater presents featured dancer Jenny Lynne Iverson accompanied by other cast playing the parts of the Soldier, the Devil, and the Narrator.  The score for seven players includes instruments from string, woodwind, brass and percussion families and is inspired by early American jazz.  This dramatic work is coming up on its 100th anniversary and will soon be presented in concert venues everywhere.
