L.I.F.E Groups at The Fountains for 2007

Opportunities for Living In Faith Everyday

Drama Group performs short dramas for the worship services. No prior acting experience is required.

Fellowship & Fertilizer meets throughout the year to plan, plant and maintain the trees, flowers, and desert plants that beautify our church property. You don't need to be an expert gardener, just someone who enjoys getting outdoors and working in the soil (maybe even pulling a few weeds).

LAFF (Life After Fifty is Fun) meets for day trips with fun, learning and fellowship each month.

Hiking Group When the weather turns cooler the hiking group is out to see God's creation in Arizona. Monthly hikes will be announced in the church bulletin and STREAMS. Rattlesnake avoidance training provided!

Motorcycle Life Group Beautiful rides with Christian bikers.

11am Sunday Adult Study -- "Digging Deeper" meets in the "Garage" with Pastor Kathleen to discuss issues from the "Applying it to Life" at 9:30

Cross Unity meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:30 p.m., in conjunction with the Fountain Hills Presbyterian Church.  We rotate the locations monthly.  In addition to our mid week program, we have special events such as rock climbing, field trips, movies, lock-ins, and community service.  The groups meet separately by grades 5th&6th, 7th&8th, and 9th-12th.  

SPLASH (Small People Loving and Serving Him) – The children ages 4 - 2nd grade at The Fountains worship with their parents at the 11:00 AM contemporary service.  After a message from Hoppy the Frog they go to the SPLASH room where there are stories, games, crafts, and songs.  

SHAZAM Children 3rd – 5th  grade worship with their parents until after Hoppy the Frog’s message. Then they meet in the back of the church to go to the “Hang Out” for their Bible lesson, crafts, games and snacks.  

Splish Splash Children’s Choir, Sundays at 11:45 AM During SPLASH and SHAZAM.

Thurd Thirsday Theological Thinktank is for anyone who's got something on their mind or stuck in their craw. Want to get it off your chest? Rev. Felten is at Phil's Place the Third Thursday of each month to nosh and chat about whatever you bring to the table.

Tuesday AM Study meets at 9:30 AM in the church library.  This group studies and discusses current books of faith using the Bible as a resource.  Currently, the study is "Eclipsing Empire: Paul, Rome, and the Kingdom of God"

Family Fellowship is for the entire family. Monthly activities may include bowling, movies, game nights, and community service projects.  

Fountains Choir  This group sings for the 9:30 AM traditional service.  Come make a joyful noise!  Newcomers are always welcome. Rehearsals are each Sunday at 8:15 a.m.

Fountains Bell Choir makes a joyful noise by ringing handbells.  You do not have to read music to play in this choir.  You must be able to count to 6!  Practices are at 12:15–1:15 PM on Sundays in the sanctuary.

Living the Questions – currently meeting on Monday nights for LtQ2

Hospitality/Visitation Team makes hospital visits.  Call the church office 837-7627.

Youth Sports Support Team attends local sporting events, including football and basketball games, cheers on the fine young athletes in our community, and recognizes the achievements of student athletes who are members of The Fountains.

Mission Outreach Team helps with projects such as UMOM, UMOM overflow shelter, Habitat for Humanity and mission trips.  

Senior Men’s Breakfast Group meets once a month.   

Yoga meets on Wednesdays at 1:00PM in the sanctuary.  Check with the office for a more detailed schedule.
