Jason Fleck

Jason began working professionally in church music at the age of 17. He started as a soloist/section leader at First United Methodist Church in Phoenix.  By the time he was 20 years old, he was the Director of Music at Epworth United Methodist Church in Glendale.  After graduating with a degree in Music from Arizona State University, he moved to Chicago to attend Graduate School at Roosevelt University. While studying Music and Theatre, he was a paid singer in the Kenilworth Community Church Choir.  While working professionally as a singer/actor in the Chicago area, he was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Oak Park, IL, where he also served as substitute Choir Director.  In 1994, Jason moved to New York City, where he attended St. Paul and St. Andrew United Methodist Church on the upper west side of Manhattan.

As a performer, Jason has been a professional Singer/Actor for the past 15 years.  He has toured the U.S. five times with various Theatrical Productions, and has performed in every state but Hawaii.  Internationally, Jason has performed in London’s West End as well as in Vienna, Berlin, Munich, Cologne, and Basel,Switzerland.  Jason also had the opportunity to tour Japan as a soloist with the Tokyo Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.

Locally, Jason has performed with the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre and the Arizona Broadway Theatre, where he won the 2007 AriZoni Award for Best Actor for his performance as Fred/Petruchio in KISS ME KATE.

Jason moved back to Arizona in October of 2008.  In addition to his duties as Music Coordinator at The Fountains, he is on staff at the Arizona Broadway Theatre in Peoria.

He and his wife, Jeannie, live in Gilbert.
